Roberts Lake
September 18, 2004

Mary and I arrived at the lake at 8:00 am. Rick was already there, he arrived around 7:00 am but had not yet had a bite. We had no action in the morning other than a few half hearted takes. Sometime after noon my bite alarm started screaming and I ended up with a 10 lb'er in the net for first fish of the day.  A little later my alarm went off again and I brought a scrappy 6 lb'er to the net. There was a lull in the action for an hour or so and then Mary's alarm started screaming, she caught a scrappy carp of around 5 lbs. A short time later Mary's alarm went off again and this one turned out to be a nice fish of about 10 lbs.  A while later Rick finally got hold of a good one that weighed in at 11 lbs. A short time later Rick's alarm screamed and he brought the biggest fish of the day to the net, a fiesty 15 lb'er. We only took a couple of photos, I wish we had taken one of Mary's fish and one of Rick's big one but both Mary and Rick decided to release them without a photo. It was a great day all around, we all caught fish and had a fun time.

The first fish of the day, my rather ghostie looking 10 lb'er.
